Mike grows a big garden every year, this picture does not do it justice. Lettuce, peas, green beans, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, radishes and cucumbers and this year spinach ( for me! ) Our record year for canning dill pickles was 250 quarts. That was about half  a dozen years or so ago, when there were four of us here. Mike and I still can easily over 100 quarts each year. And they still dont last long!

I have had my fifty five gallon aquaruim for over twenty years, with other tanks along the way as well. My hubby and I have a few gold fish that he has won over the years at fairs. They are nothing more then feeder fish - but give them room and watch them grow! I put them  out in our mini pond each spring and bring them back in each fall. I also have tropical fish in our tank. Angel fish, clown loaches, pleco's, tetra's, platty's and of course - goldfish. These poor fish are so hardy, they prefur cooler water, but will make in warmer waters as well...If you want a low maintanance fish, check out goldfish.
